Induction Hardening
Precision induction heat treatment services for EN8, EN19, EN24, 4140 & 4340 steel components.
What Is Induction Hardening?
Induction hardening is a localized surface hardening technique that uses electromagnetic induction to strengthen metal components. By rapidly heating the outer layer and immediately quenching it, we create a martensitic structure that is extremely hard while leaving the core ductile and tough.
Our Process Workflow
Inspection
Analysis of material grade and tolerances to define precise parameters.
Preparation
Cleaning to ensure uniform heat absorption and prevent scale formation.
Heating
Targeted electromagnetic heating using custom coils to reach critical temps.
Quenching
Rapid, synchronized cooling in polymer or water media to lock hardness.
Hardness Test
Verification of surface hardness (HRC) using calibrated equipment.
Final Check
Quality check and dimensional validation for OEM compliance.
Wear Resistance
Hard, durable surface that withstands intense friction.
Core Ductility
Core remains tough and shock-resistant, preventing fractures.
Fast & Precise
Rapid localized heating minimizes energy waste and distortion.
Digital Control
PLC-monitored cycles ensure identical results for every batch.
